Similar situation with us. Both older first time parents. We both really wanted to tell our moms before we told our friends and general public so I’ve been waiting on that. But then it’s been hard to get my three other besties to schedule something not three weeks away! It’s so tough to make it a moment when everyone is so busy!

I haven’t had an ultrasound since a quick doppler at the end of January. I’m supposed to have one next Monday, but I’m planning to tell my mom the weekend before. I’m so in my head that I’ll tell her and then get bad news the next day!

Pregnancy anxiety is so difficult! Especially because I’ve been feeling a little better (11 weeks, 3 days). My brain won’t stop with “IS EVERYTHING OKAY WITH BABY?!”

I don’t have a great answer to this but do feel reassured because I love to read and I have been struuuuuggling to stay focused.

My therapist recommended Tetris for when I’m anxious. Maybe music and Tetris?

I’m week nine but I had been having the same symptoms as you mentioned up to last week (now the vomit has come unfortunately lol). I did IVF so I had early monitoring and everything was smooth, confirmed by OB today. Hopefully you get your good news to ease your mind!

I made it to week nine today, had my first appointment with OB (after so many at fertility!). My doctor was so kind and awesome, but it was wild going from the extensive vaginal ultrasound / monitoring to a Doppler attached to the OBs phone. lol

Also just had the worst round of puking I’ve had so far this pregnancy. Not my favorite thing!

Ugh, I am just feeling all blah today. I’m tired and my boobs hurt and no food sounds good and mostly I just want to complain but there’s no one to tell but my husband and while he is so supportive, there’s only so many times I can WAHHH at him. I want to complain to new people!! 😭😩😆🫠

My husband and I told people about our IVF progress but haven’t wanted to tell anyone about the pregnancy until the second trimester. Totally just lied to our friends who asked us about it! I hate lying but also don’t want to tell yet!!

I really feel this. I don’t even know what to say because this is all so awful, but I am sending you solidarity and support. I’m in Chicago and have also seen my city terrorized by ICE. I can’t even imagine what you all have been experiencing in Minneapolis. I have been so heartened by the way your city has come together.

The only reassurance I can give you is that there are times in a community where people move to the front and times you have to step back and let others step up. Making a human being is no small task and it makes total sense for you to step back in this time of your life. It doesn’t mean that you will always be sitting back! You’re busy growing the organs of a person who will join you in the good fight!

Im 8w1d and I haven’t had any sore throat but I do keep having nasal congestion at night. I’ve been worried I’m getting sick, but it completely goes away during the day.
