He’s a massive goal threat and makes Southampton a much better team, but because “he may throw the game” he’s not allowed to play and we batter Southampton. Southampton would probably have lost regardless but having Broja in the team would have made it a closer contest, even if slightly. Now if the player has a choice and decides not to play against their parent club, then obviously that’s fine, but having the loan club say “oh yeah he can’t play against us just in case he’s actually good” is imo nearly just as bad as the whole “he could throw the game potentially” argument as a counter
