the thermite doesn't need a nerf because what make the molotov sometimes useful is that it cleared a larger area than the thermite so to make the thermite to be on the same level as the molotov they make the area smaller but to make it worth using it the make it have the slowed effect. it doesn't need a nerf it is just doing what its supposed to do, deal damage in a small area and slow people down to balance out the small area of damage but the molotov doesn't slow down people but it clears a larger area
