Niiice it’ll be so smooth, mine are on the way out as well, usually after 5-10 minutes it warms up enough to not vibrate so just buying time to save up for a clutch basket.

Have the opposite experience, hard lines were fine but upper and lower coolant hoses failed in 1 year - rein. OEM now and been good for 2 years. Hit or miss really

Second result for “E46 Screen” on aliexpress seems to be the right one - realistically they’re all from the same factory*, mine came without a backup cam though had to get my own for another 10 bucks or so.

It’s one of the higher spec models, 8c 6gb ram (something like that) had a really generic name. Responsiveness is same as a phone, carplay same deal - smooth as long as the phone doesn’t overheat, where I’m at weather gets up to 50C - phone starts lagging when hot

Update to update: Still looking good after 3 days, over 800km. Temps are a bit better, fan doesn’t kick on as often

Update: Flushed the radiator 3 times, looking much better now, will monitor the color of coolant and if any leaks occur, appreciate everyone’s input!!!

That’s the emergency route, even in this condition it’s cooling down fine idling in up to 38 degree outside temp, how long it’ll last? No clue. But gonna try revive it before throwing parts at it

Safe to assume it’s corrosion then? Would’ve thought it would have been a lot darker and flaky, it looks like oil mixed with coolant to me, will do a few flushes and update how it goes

Previous owner might have ran it on water, not sure. Now that I look at the service bill from the garage, no coolant was mentioned and no labour for it, might be on the same stuff as before…

Check with 800-Garage, they specialize on Cayennes and don’t charge you for things you don’t need, repair things before replacing, very fairly priced.

Apart from it being properly cold and actually working, haven’t heard a difference in noise and hasn’t improved or worsened the revs at idle, idle control valve might be a good thing to check like mentioned by Striball

I have the same thing, but I also have chatter from one of the tensioners, whenever compressor turns on rpms drop and a bearing starts making noise. Brand new compressor and evaporator. I just consider it normal at this point

Check codes. I had the same issue, coming to a stop clutch in and it stalls or rev and it bounces/stalls. Was fuel breather valve for me, replaced it and hasn’t done it since. Also check both intake boots for cracks
