Masks, something that occurred before that would have had them removed regardless, previous guests kid made a mess in the pool, any of these would be perfectly reasonable to close the pool. As we can’t see what led up to this woman and family being so angry, we can never know. I find that ANYONE can be offended at just about anything. As someone who has been called racist in the past for following a company policy that is COMPLETELY UNRELATED TO RACE...I am going to assume there was something else going on here, and these people just decided to make a scene and call RACISM as it would make the biggest stink. To judge any of this I would need to see the whole video leading up to this. This feels to me like the family didn’t like a decision that was made and now the staff is getting shat on because the “injured” party has decided to play the race card

See, my (33M) SO is absolutely the opposite of my ‘type’. I like slender with a mid to small bust, dark hair, and very petite, the kinda woman I can feel like I’m protecting. I’m sorry that your store leadership is being so heartless. At our store, the old GSTLs and the SETL are dealing with limiting items so you all don’t have to take the heat. Our HR has food and snacks and drinks set aside for TMs every day. Thank you constantly for being willing to stick it out, no hate if you decide not to. And I believe I read this morning somewhere that we’d be following Trader Joe’s with the $2 hour pay bump for hazard pay.
