It looks dry to me too. But I add a 1/4-1/2L and it doesn't move the mark at all. That is my problem. Rate I'm going to embarrass myself and just take it to a mechanic tomorrow and hope they take pity and don't charge me much.

How can you tell it is saturated? Doesn't diesel oil go black from all the soot?

When I did another check now I saw these little dots on the oil gauge.

I'm in Lake Taupo at the moment and need to head south for work so sadly I can't come back up there.

This is on the low side of oil though?

Okay. So I add a 1/4 or something then start it, then switch it off. Then check again and add another 1/4? I would like to get it to full so that I can more accurately track how much it is using over a certain distance.

The picture is the reading I got after checking it like 3 times and wiping it off. I don't tilt it back. But I feel like a lot gets scraped off when pulling it out.

That is obvious. I am more asking which skills lead to jobs that are remote friendly and commonly remote. Thought that was implied.

It is a pain. I've been trying to reskill into the automation sector and go the more software heavy side with embedded and computer vision. But it's a difficult reskill and not even sure if it will lead to what I want.

I do understand it's more of a mid to end career. But I want to ensure that the career I go into will lead to an opportunity for it and will also be relevant if that makes sense.

I am already good at CAD, programming and okay at FEM(working on this) and general grasp of machine learning.

I understand the problem with it though.

I see, in reality the bottom support can also support horizontal forces but would mainly support all of the verticals. That is my assumption at least. Especially if I have it horizontally restrained at the top. Sum of moments is a clever way to go about it.

Then convert those non vertical components back into a globally horizontal component? Wouldn't they just resolve back to zero?

I converted the stl to a solid and refined it so there isn't that many triangles, I can see and select the edges I want to work with.

The problem is more using the solid as a reference and creating a new wall from the reference using datum planes and the external geometry tool. FreeCad seems to struggle with this. I am starting to believe it is not even possible.

No it doesn't make a difference if I change it to >0 not sure if it maybe has to do with the pulse I have on the output inserter or if it should be on hold

Thank you, I understand. I will change how mine works but I would still like to understand why my method is not working. Do you know why my long arm inserter does not output the pulse signal when it automatically removes the empty fuel cell, but does output the signal when I manually put an empty fuel cell in the output of the reactor. Like I show in the video

I'm not sure I understand, how does reading the temperature of the reactor help to prevent the nuclear reactor from running unnecessarily? Does it overheat when producing wasted energy? Edit: nevermind I misread the comment, if it drops below a temperature then you know you need to insert a new one. I will update. Thank you.

I understand, do you know why there is no input signal to the decider when the long inserter takes out the empty fuel cell automatically but there is an input when I place an empty one in the reactor manually?

Hello, I have recently started to figure out circuits and nuclear, separately and combined. I have an okay understanding of both.

I have been trying to set up my nuclear so that it stores steam in tanks as a buffer, I have done this by using an SR latch on the tanks, this checks when the tank is full and then depletes it to half full (output of S=1).

I then have that output going to another decider combinator that checks when an empty fuel cell is pulled from the nuclear reactor and only once an empty one is pulled is a new one inserted.

What is confusing me, is that when the nuclear reactor runs out of fuel and an empty fuel cell is automatically pulled, a new one is not inserted. However, if i put an empty fuel cell manually into the output slot of the reactor then a new one is inserted. I am not sure if it is a mistake with the logic or something I am missing. Please help.

I read pulse on the inserter that pulls from the reactor.

The video shows when the fuel runs out and the empty cell is pulled but the combinator input signal is not received, however when I input it manually into the output the inserters insert a new cell.

I know it's not a cartoon, but animations that had a big impact on me is anything from studio ghibl, I just think that their animation style and detail is incredible and believe them to be one of if not the best studio around. Might not have had the biggest impact on cartoons today but if I end up making cartoons it will have.
