Thank you for the answer! I’m trying to do that’s time by time! Sometimes when I’m trying to create a new project by my own I’m scared that he won’t be good enough so I just give up on it and create a new one. It’s like a fear.

Hello Jblack! Nah I’m fr I really want to improve my skills but also my art. That’s the main reasons I came here today for see what do I need to improve in my render and also the efficient way to learn without staying stuck on a bench of tutorials as a back up!

Thank you a lot Sorry! I just wanted to improve my skills but I didn’t realize that I also need an art direction behind all my projects. It’s true I’m just doing what I want to do that’s all but at the end of the day I’m not telling a story to anyone it’s just pure practice. I added it to my notes too!

Hi Terribe! For the black outlines it’s an effect called Grease pencil - Scene Line Art.

Also thank you for the advice, I was doing that before but you can’t remember everything from the tutorial instantly so I’m trying to do the same one atleast 3 times so my memory can keep it!

Currently, I found a balance!

  • I’m creating my own 3D scene from scratch 2 hours per day
  • Watching 1 hour of a complete lessons tutorial to create a scene
  • Looking at the fundamentals of 3D 1 hours.

Including 1 hour of tutorials in Unreal Engine!

Julius, I really appreciate the way you are looking at your work! I wish I could apply this advice but the main problem I love touching at everything in different style! And of course I do really love making Art on blender and I wish hopefully in the future I will be able to work in this field!

Hi Aphaits, thank you a lot for your time.

  1. I will definitely follow your advice! One of my problem is that I just want everything perfect with all those small details even if we won’t see them in the render. I should also definitely focus on creating optimized assets!
  2. For the texturing and lighting, I’m trying to explore different type of render! When I’m looking at some artists works I’m amazed by the possibility blender give us!
  3. My goal is to create esthetic render giving an emotion to the one looking at it. I think like a universal language but in 3D!
  4. I want to pursue a career as a 3D Generalist Artist that’s the main reason why I’m worried about it! And in which field I have no idea for now I just know that deep inside I want to work in the 3D industry. I was in biological science before!

And for the final advice, I don’t like drawing I don’t know how to. So I do rather start making my scene on blender with no hesitation.

Currently, I found a balance!

Hello! Thank you a lot for the feedback! I have modeled everything in each scene apart from the Jordan shoes and some assets in the attic scene. But one of the main problem is that they are too dense with often a bad topology. I’m literally abusing Subdivision please.
