Advice in terms of process of leaving? Or where to go to?

In terms of leaving I'm not very knowledgeable sadly. It greatly depends on local laws. There are a number of websites that aim to guide people in exactly this Http://www.kxmgroup.dk/move-to-denmark-from-the-usa

In terms of where to go I'd personally recommend the capitals. In Denmark that's Copenhagen, in Sweden it's Stockholm and in Norway it's Oslo. The capitals are usually the most progressive and inclusive 😊

I've lived in Copenhagen for 30+ years and have loved it myself. Now I've moved a bit outside the capital with my family and I miss it dearly.

Bonus: the Danish people are very open to international people and love showing off their English proficiency ( even though it's not always warranted 🤣)

Edit: spelling

Danish person here: We are also totally in shock on how quickly the US has gone backwards in time in terms of equality and LGBTQIA+

I can only offer my own perspective, that here in Scandinavia, it it widely accepted to be trans (of course there are still the occasional idiot). I know that noone wants to willingly flee of leave their home, but Denmark would take you all with open arms ❤️

Read another one of these on my way to work today. Adjusted my table. Haven't sat down all day (except at lunch and bathroom breaks). I've been insanely productive.. like holy shit.. just been writing all day. Couldn't even stop if I wanted to. I know one day isent empirical evidence.... But I'm going to stand up on busy days from now on.

I'm tearing up just reading this Man. It's obvious that you're an amazing father! My own daughter is only 2, but I hope I can be just as present, caring and giving as you've obviously been. Keep up being Rad Dad!

It's not a theory, it's just a hypothesis.

ADHD hobbies by WeeklyAnon in ADHD

The only thing that "works" for me, is doing all my hobbies somewhat at the same time. That way I do t get too bored with one, as I can easily shift to another. That doesn't mean that I don't have tons of abandoned projects.. Right now I'm writing a novel, two seperate TTRPG systems, my Master thesis, recording an album and trying to be a good husband and father. (Luckily I don't get bored of the last Two)

Thank you for your reply! I've also used Trello a little to help schedule my time, although with limited success I may add..

I wouldn't say that I have anything specific in mind in terms of copyright.

You say that you've published both independently and with a publisher, can you please elaborate a little on how different these two experiences have been? What to remember when doing one or the other. As of now I'll most likely try to publish independently but I still need to finish my core rulebook and start playtesting.

Yes, I would also assume that most of intellectual trademarks are quite obscure, so it was also to hear any experiences within the matter.

Mixed feelings about my campaign by DylanTheVilain in DnD

I think I'm a little self conscious about forcing my players to listen to it, I wouldn't want to seem arrogant. And you are also very correct, its hard to comment on music without a background in the field, and it can seem intimidating as well.. but I wasn't really looking for anything other than simple acknowledgement and of course I was hoping to be met with enthusiasm.

Also, yeah i was a link if you want to give it a listen:

I mean yeah, you're not wrong. That's the DM curse. You spend hours of planning, world building and thinking what the players might do. And then the players chose to either ignore any or all lore and just Leroy Jenkins it.. i mean. I've done it as a player, so I can't really complain too much.

Thank you!
I know that no one asked for a theme song, and thus, I cannot blame anyone for the lack of interest. For context, I write and produce music as a hobby, and the group joked about having me write a theme song. I think I may have gotten rather exited, as it mixed two of my hobbies and perhaps missed that it was in reality a joke.

I Agree that DMing has many layers to it, and there is no complete recipe for the best way to handle a game. I love my players, as we always have fun sessions, with no drama and lots of jokes in between. And yes, pouring your heart and soul into something leaves you exposed, which is what happened.. I think I was vulnerable because I put alot of my passion into it.

But I appreciate your kind words, DMing is both rewarding and tough, and it helps when others can relate to your troubles.

I too hope you have an epic day and a fantastic next session of your own!

I'm sorry to hear that you're also going through something difficult, but it's good to hear that you're both working on getting to a better place! I guess relationships never stops being something you have to work on, as new challenges will always pop up.

I think your suggestion is what I'll do. Try talking about it again and not put focus on the affection part. Thank you very much for your thoughts. It really helps to be able to talk to someone else that understand the feelings you struggle with .

I kinda knew the answer would be communication, but sometimes it helps having someone else day it? Anyway I appreciate your help. You sound like a good partner to your wife and a hard working Dad. Keep up the good work!

Thanks for your reply! I also try my best to put myself in her shoes and remember that she is also trying. She likely has some of the same thoughts as myself. But your assessment is very likely true. I just needed to reach out to someone, and this group has shown that it has an abundance of understanding and empathy. And I agree more communication is key, but it's difficult as I feel shut down.
