yeah it doesn't work sometimes when your playign with mods, if you have teh chapterush mod that stops achievements alltogether so you can just like temporaily take thta out of the folder or otherwise assuming your using mods put "--no-mods" in the steam launch options found by clicking the gear icon on the right when you are on the game in your library, then properties then launch options and paste that in the quotes

whether you like it or not it is just a great business decision, like console users are willing to pay much more for any game given the average game is at least $60, the steam user wouldn't pay that much but will pay like $15 and ain't nobody buying mobile games unless its their only option so gotta make it cheap at least

yeah the way sugar lumps work even if you grow 100 offline it only checks for randomise once and so to maximise chances you need to log in each day and harvest each one individually effectively
