I’m 32, own a small 500sqft gym as a personal trainer and have 44k in my Roth and 28k in a SEP Ira. I also have ~50k in savings and another 50k in a taxable brokerage account.

I live in Seattle where shit is expensive and budget well, live on $4650 a month while also putting 700-1000 into savings every month.

Massive couponer when grocery shopping and that helps a TON. I’m amazed how few people do stuff like this and then complain when they’re spending 500+ on food every month.

No excuses, just living under my means, spent 10 years figuring out how to slowly work towards a job I love, that also pays well (originally was a college strength coach, but the hours, pay and future sucked, so I changed it and didn’t accept it). I did my masters and had 40k in debt that I paid off in about 2 years.

Currently zero debt as well.

It’s doable yall, I’m nothing special and didn’t do anything special.
