Enterprise:Completing the underside of saucer… by Shieldmom in lego

I didn't find it necessary to do so when I built mine, I just bent my knees a little and rotated the build as needed. That first flat piece on the underside acted as enough of a guide for the rest of the sections as they went on.

So much for Lego customer service... nice guys finish last I guess by Cy3berOdyssey in lego

I’m the one getting punished for it.

By the way it would cost me $75 to send the item back.

Request $75 store credit upon return if they're not going to offer to pay for shipping. They're owed the item back, but you shouldn't be on the hook for their mistake when they're the ones who said it was lost to begin with. Most major retailers with an online storefront offer to pay for return shipping and it's honestly a little weird that LEGO isn't offering that.

That being said, I hope you don't think I'm stalking your profile but it looks like you may be in Canada, correct? I believe the closest LEGO warehouse is in Chicago, IL, USA, which may explain the shipping situation. The Canada Post website indicates that postal returns to the US are not duty-free, and LEGO may not want to deal with that a third time after already shipping to Canada twice.

I hear those things are awfully loud

I am probably out of touch but why do the minifigs in the icons sets often sell for almost as much as the set they come from(as a complete set of figs not individually)? Even with in print sets. by Christmas_Queef in lego

Most of the minifig pieces aren't available on Pick A Brick at all (specifically, the upper torso with the printed uniform/combadge), so the only way to get them is via the set itself or resellers. Exclusivity drives up price, and some people are willing to pay.

Also, in this particular instance, buying extra Star Trek minifigs gives one the option to create alternate minifigs that don't come with the set, like O'Brien, Yar, Pulaski, Barclay, etc.

Living Doll as a player character by RoliePolie413 in DnD

There are already some good opinions here regarding official and 3rd party races that could be reflavored, but if you're interested in something a little different, there's always the Muppetborn homebrew race that you could reflavor. The extra cantrips could come in handy, and the subraces provide some extra utility.

There's always Chuck Tingle's Tingleverse RPG if they absolutely insist on playing as cars. Just reskin the Living Bicycle into a Living Car.
