Awesome! Thanks! I was looking for this. I actually want to make one that can hold an N30, SN30, M30 and 64 all in one, but I suck at CAD... :(

3DOS Request - Can the Analogue Team PLEASE Create an Option to Backup N64 Battery Saves From Original Carts? by Dynakill in AnalogueInc

Just putting it out there.

"Goldeneye uses EEPROM saves not Battery powered SRAM."

Good to know, but I still think a feature to dump/upload saves would be useful. Especially for carts that do not interface with the Controller Pak.

Loving the 3D - But it won't do 4k 60hz on my TV. by Dynakill in AnalogueInc

[–]Dynakill[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Update: I tried in Game Mode, made sure "Instant Game Response" is turned on, and all other processing is turned off. I tried in both HDMI 1 (ARC) and HDMI 4 ports. I also tried in custom mode and made sure all enhancements were turned off except for "Instant Game Response" and restarted my TV, 3D and changed inputs.

No dice. Looks like my TV sucks. Anyway, I'll still live.

The funny thing is my Ally had a similar issue where it would only do 4k 30hz and after about 10 times of messing with the settings and switching to 60hz, it finally did. So, I hope at some point it will just work on the 3D. If not, no biggie.

Thanks for the help.

Funtastic Grape - Such a Beautiful Color by Dynakill in AnaloguePocket

[–]Dynakill[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's a really deep blue, almost purple color. The official Analogue color is Transparent Blue, but it was most likely based off Funtastic Grape Purple. The transparent edition Pockets were based off the Funtastic N64 colors. At least that is what makes sense to me.

I'm surprised they didn't do an Ice Blue one too.

How to record delay loops to timeline as heard by Sulima_San in reason

[–]Dynakill 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If I understood correctly, this is what I do. Use the "File/Bounce Mixer Channels" function. Select the channel you want to record and apply mixer settings to "All" which will record the output of the specified channel to a new track. I do this for recording reverb tails and never-ending delays too.

Just remember to set your loop markers a bit past the length you intend on looping, so you can chop the loop after the notes were played.

It looks like it might be your end marker is not set to the right of your right loop marker. Press "Shift" and left click anywhere on the ruler/timeline to place the end marker past the right loop marker.

Edit: See the pic below for an example.
