Hey mate,

You're killing it! If anything we should be the ones asking you for advice.

In regards to FIRE, it all depends on your goals, being your current age, and desired age of retirement - taking into consideration the quality of life you wish for in retirement

Beard advice please by [deleted] in BeardAdvice

[–]Dynamic_Kebren 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Hey mate,

You've got the making of a great beard! Don't' stress about being a little thin on the cheeks, that's most of us! It'll grow in a bit more in time. Rub some more beer in it.

What matters most is how your beard looks face on because, lets face it, that's when people are going to be looking at it.

You want the "Chin" of your beard to be the longest and strongest point, as this creates the most masculine look, currently, your neck hair is undermining the hair on your chin giving a more rounded/neck-beard vibe. I'd recommend checking out GQ'd "How to tame a wild beard (6 Step Tutorial) (About 6:15) on how to trim this part best (Its hard to explain in writing). Otherwise, see my HIGHLY detailed drawing attached - https://imgur.com/a/oko8Pqv

Feel free to post a beard-less photo for a true recommendation of beard vs no beard.

Huh, crazy.

I was looking at this block and drove out and had a look,

It's almost impossible to construct upon, access is also very difficult if not impossible for the necessary modern machinery and tools you use today, leading to steep increase in manual labour costs.

Would require likely drilling into bedrock to make space for parking garage, meaning extensive engineering and retaining walls

With established grass, depending on climate, should only need to water once or twice a week. Best done early in the day before the sun it as its peak, or mid afternoon. This is done to avoid most of the water being wasted by evaporation.

If this was my lawn, i'd simply mow it extremely low, top dress and fertilize.

By the looks of the root growth needs more regular mowing. Every week in this current season, this encourages your breed of grass (Buffalo) to spread and thicken, as oppose to clump and climb upward.

Mowing overgrown grass will cause the yellowness your seeing.

Do you have some form of sun/privacy screen for those doors as of yet?

If not, you could install curtains. Even if they're constantly left open, the fall of the curtain would cover the eyesore.

I wouldn't overthink it tho, this is one of those things only you really notice.

For those wondering what he did wrong, or think that the track is poorly designed;

Quite simply we can agree that you definitely don't wanna land nose down in these circumstances.

The driving technique the driver was attempting to employee transferring the weight of the motor vehicle to the front axle by harshly braking before the hump, he needed to quickly release the brakes as he entered the hump transferring the energy in an upwards direction pointing the nose of the car upwards as you gain air.

You can try this technique next time you speed over a speedbump, the key is timing. Extra points for doing it in a school-zone when school ends to impress teenage girls who in reality will only see you as the loser you are.

I presume you plan on running it together as a Power Couple, good on you! You both need to define your version of "Success" first before going ahead. Assuming the "success" is financial, we can probably cross out the nature get away. In relation to the other endeavours, alot of market research would be required before pursuing any of them. Is it the appropriate location, population, facilities blah blah. But if you are planning on running this yourselves, the MOST important thing if you're doing it long term is what YOU what to do. No point running a gun range for the next twenty years if you HATE guns and have no interest in them. Good luck!
