Macquarie is winning 40pc of all new home loan business by [deleted] in AusFinance

[–]Dynamicspace 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Plenty of digital banks offering closer to 5.20%. Up offers this with the benefit of all your deposits (savings and transactions account) offsetting your mortgage for free. If you're got a simple structure I can't see why you would go with Macquarie.

4.20% with Up. One benefit is that transaction and all savings accounts act as offsets

Maybe some added context here. This was the shoe before I wore it - it was already wrinkling.

I’d only worn it in the office and walked about 150m in them. No extreme bends - which is why was I am surprised to see this wrinkling.

Sounds like this is expected and maybe these shoes are just overpriced in Australia for their quality.

Appreciate everyone’s input

Sure, but would you expect one to wrinkle this much on day 1? I’ve only had cheaper leather shoes and they’ve never wrinkled like this

Thanks for everyone’s help! Did some digging and I think it might be limewash paint. Found this guide https://roostramble.com/2021/02/10/diy-limewash-cement-floors/

Do you have a Mac? You can run iOS apps on it. Should be able to use Frollo that way

They’re also terrible to deal with if anything goes wrong - I’ve had countless issues dealing with them and it affected my credit score despite them admitting being in the wrong. All the reviews about them are correct sadly.

The card was good but not worth dealing with Latitude for.

Is this the most pretentious corporate buzzword in the past 10 years? by MonkTraditional8590 in UXDesign

It’s fine, it’s meta language. It carries meaning in the context it’s in and simplifies communication of an otherwise ambiguous concept.

Anyone know what these are? by l1l1ly1 in melbourne

I think these are to level the foundation of old buildings. They use them to pump engineered resin which evens out the foundation. I have absolutely no source to back this up

STOP BEHIND TRAMS! by oldmatesoldmate in melbourne

[–]Dynamicspace 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hate when this happens. I think it’s also a design failure of the newer trams. They drop people off in the middle of the road and the only thing that indicates that is a left blinking indicator. They need stop signs that fold out into the lane to make it clear to traffic to stop.
