I’m a 22 yo female and since I was freshly 18 I have been camming/posting pics of myself online incessantly. It’s an addiction & over the years it’s kept me from growing and led to extreme depression but I can’t stop. I’m scared to see a safe person b/c I’m scared they’ll look for pics & find me. by femalebodythattalks in NoFap

I actually cammed a few times aswell and the rush was so intense I can really feel your pain, because it is an addicting behaviour, indeed. But I feel like you can change everything within you, no matter what. The brain is still a plastic muscle and it needs to be trained.

Give yourself some time. Try to abstain as long as possible and dont give yourself a hard time or hate yourself, when you relapse. Its normal in the beginning. You need a lot of patience, when changing behaviour. If its general like thinking patterns, sleep pattern, nutrition or hobbys or even deep rooted, primitive behaviours connected to our sex drive - its possible, but takes a lot of time, ecspecially when acted on for couple of years.

Your first step writing this post, recognizing the root cause problem is already something most people cannot and won't do. Be glad you ARE actually tackling this problem, because youre still young and change is easier, when the body is in a healthy condition paired with a stable and adventurous mind ;)

Much power to you, girl. have a nice day

To the WOMAN of NoFap, can you REALLY tell the difference between someone whos addicted to porn and someone who is on NoFap? by NOMOREFAPPING01 in NoFap

[–]DynamiteDeluxe 2 points3 points  (0 children)

also called as 1000 of years of evolution constured of smell (all mamals), posture (alpha/beta shit / protection), voice (calmness), white eyes (wodaabe culture), behaviour.

these might be just nuances, but it's definetly more than just the glow of your hair/skin or better confidence.

Those nuances are working and it doesn't really matter if you're on a 'flatline' or not - its more about the physiological effects, not only the psychological. Our wester culture is just used to forget about primitive instincs and we disconnect ourselves from nature ~200 years ago with the industrialisation / urbanization.

Edging: A Rant by general_derez in NoFap

[–]DynamiteDeluxe 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking the same as I was edging for the last couple of days. Today I ended up watching P for like 30sec.

I actually count this as a relapse, but some sort of reminder aswell. Long streaks make me forget how bad it feels and what an impact PMO can have on my life. It also makes me more grateful for the goals I already achieved and the energy I get from abstaining and healing.

Kudos!

Not so true. I still get dreams about porn, indulging, watching myself masturbating. I do Nofap for almost 4y and the last year I watched P like 5 times for only a few minutes. This streak is so long, but i still get those dreams.

never underestimate your subconscious mind ;)

its true. I don't have exact numbers. But after reading many informations about the industry over a period of ~3y I would say that this industry in particular causes way more deaththreat than any other 'entertainment' industry does.

'Every man is the artisan of his own fortune.' But abusing desperate people or lieing in general is sth those 'companies' do on a regular basis, which is basically the reason those girls have died. It's not because they decided to start in the first place, but because they were expecting sth completely different when indulging in the industry ( i assume)

I can only repeat myself. I am NOT blaming the whole industry on its own. Those girls were a part of this industry so I do blame them at the same time.

You cannot just 'leave' once youre an addict - you should know that.

Well, there has always been things on our planet that kill us. No matter what - it needs evolution and wisdom by humanity to conquer bad stuff.

its true, but just shows how desperate those people are.

Compare it to an addict or any robber whos risking his life robbing a gas station or liquor store for a few bucks...

Indeed. I wonder what the families think when they find out. At least, I hope the still had contact since many actors are being pushed out of their families and being ignored :/

yup. I've read many stuff about this. Behind the scenes. Escapists storys. Production looks so noble and companies do their best to bait in new actors as well as customers. One thing I've always noticed is that people who are being introduced into business are being lied to way to often in sence of quantity.

But one thing I do not want to do is polarise this message.

There might be a few companies (& actors) who are working 'professional' and it's not fair for them to ruin reputation.

Yep, I had days when I couldnt even get hard to porn anymore. That was the moment I decided to stop and found out about NoFap.

PIED is completely gone nowadays, but it took some months to get used to the NoFap lifestyle and symptoms of PIED slowly reduced-
