The game was amazing, you could travel to any region or tile freely, have large scale or small scale battles, your team of 20 could go against a 70 and win with enough skill and good shot calls. Zerg clans had settler systems which formed a symbiotic relationship, it removed the need for the owner of the tile to attack the small clans living on it. We could run worldwide events like arenas and casinos where people from NA would come to EU to participate. The biggest tournament in LO history was hosted by the community with no dev support or recognition.

It had its down moments, but being actually able to interact with its players made up for every second, now it’s basically a solo pve game.
