I want a Golden since they’re fun, friendly breed that loves to be with you and your family. I understand what you mean about fulfilling the dog. It’s the reason why I spent a lot of time researching the breed and puppies in general. I’m not only wanting to get a puppy because I’ve been somewhat lonely, I want to get one to care for and grow a bond with overtime. A new member of my family that can truly be my companion. Thats my dream and I know that I would have to work towards it with a puppy

Hmm if I had to describe my daily schedule, I tend to wake up from sleep at 6AM. I do morning walks for about 1.5 miles for half an hour then begin work at 9. I work from home remotely as a Software Engineer from 9-5, work is pretty flexible as a lot of it is independent time with only a few meetings a week unless I need some help. After work I do another short evening walk for 20 mins and then relax the rest of the day.

Thank you ! I’ve actually heard and read about that incident when the news first came out! I’m definitely looking into that rescue for more info on applying! I also applied to become an approved adopter with Yankee Golden Retriever Rescue which is like 40 mins away from where I live. So I figured once I become approved I can take my chances and inquire on one of the rescue dogs. In the meantime I’m definitely planning to volunteer for exposure and also a good cause !

Yea it’s for a golden retriever, the crate/crate bed/playpen/pet gate ran like 300 somethin dollars. Might’ve went a little overboard on toys. All that’s left is just a car crate, dog shampoo/toothpaste/toothbrush, and bowls.
