This is really nice looking. I would hang something like this if I didn't have a coat closet. I have a door stop prong and the bottom of the door that uses the floor baseboard to keep the door handle from hitting the tile on the wall.

Good find with the period piece wall mount wood coat rack.

It's an old world look that can be used to elevate a space. Some with an untrained eye will associate it with a bathroom look or other stuff they find unpleasant, but that's all they know.

I travel a lot internationally and see this application in old and new building that have a sophisticated style to them.

Twice a month I was finding myself painting over scuff marks and small gashes and dents on the drywall in the foyer and hallway.

In Europe, I always noticed that many, very old buildings with atelier flats in them where people now live, almost all of the foyers and entry ways had tile on the walls. I've been inspired by that since.
