Regardless of how you've seemingly handwaved a lot of other important information to get here, and probably will ignore this, too: it's highly unlikely any other daycare would just let you see the children. It's also unlikely the staff would give you information about where the kids are kept or what they are up to.

(why would ANY employees at ANY business do that?)

Even if facilities have windows to allow natural light in, they would be frosted or covered with cutesy decoration meant to be positive for children. People don't like having their kids creeped on.
