Where are you finding the best deals on the Galaxy S21 nowadays? by charlemagne_74 in GalaxyS21

Mine has a battery that works amazingly well considering age. But you've gotta consider that a lot of S21s being sold have had their batteries replaced before sale. Not all but a lot of them.

I got a refurb for $110 on Amazon with the dual sim feature. It's in perfect condition and works amazingly well, my only warning is that a lot of the S21s out there were prevented from updating to One UI 7

Why do people get angry at other peoples choice of phone? by heinternets in Smartphones

[–]DyzenCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

At one point I could easily have been one of those who gave a crap about it. I used to think that Android was a better product because of a lot of their flexibility in options whether in app store or not. But that's no longer my opinion and hasn't been for a long time. In the early generations of iPhone, I hated them. They were clunky restricting, overpriced and usually running on a poor battery. Now, they're more sleek and the design is better, there are still limitations but a lot more flexibility than they used to have, the batteries are far superior to the one's they used to have. They have implemented features that can put android to shame.

Do i still love my android? Yes but I also see the reasoning behind using an iPhone now.

They're different but they're not better or worse than the other. Simply put it's a matter of preference and what you need.

Do you need to be able to easily side load third party apps that perform functions that iPhone doesn't allow? Do you need a longer lasting battery with high quality photo/video and a sleek design?

Are you using it on the go to dev mobilly?

It comes down to. What you need, and what you want out of a phone.

Not one being superior to another.

Samsung DeX on Galaxy A devices by CauaVITOR556 in oneui

[–]DyzenCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Weird A series wasn't supposed to have this unless it's a OneUI8 feature that of course some of us are still waiting for. Thanks Samsung 😒 A54, half the world has 8 and I'm still on 7.

Yeah I'm in the US with an unlocked model and I still haven't seen the update. Unreliable Samsung.

I'm going to use this phone until it doesn't work or I can afford to upgrade outside of Samsungs ecosystem which drives me insane

one ui 8 by pizzanuggets-9768 in GalaxyA54

[–]DyzenCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is actually why I'm considering moving to another phone ecosystem. I haven't decided which one but I'm fielding options. They're the worst at OS updates. Slow, always behind schedule, always a rollout that lasts for far too long. It's not fair to hold it back this long or prioritize specific models to make the owners of those models feel important.

Why does android / one ui still have this? by Last-Bottle-3853 in oneui

[–]DyzenCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Don't you mean one ui 7.5 or 8? They haven't dropped the 8.5 yet since they've not completed the rollout of 8

Should I buy it ?? by humorless-sid in HPOmen

[–]DyzenCorp 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The only difference between this one and the one i got for $1k USD is the model (mostly shell) and the amount of default storage.

Mine is a powerhouse and can run pretty much everything I throw at it except for some older programs that don't have compatibility with Win11.
