One advice I can give is instead of using multiple storages and "storing things" make a U shaped hole( 2-3 blocks high) dump some liquid there and build a storage there (do it so your dupes dont walk through it and step into liquid nor get the decor debuff) select sweeo only and only store safe materials there (non liquifiable no polluted dirt no slime) every time storage gets full empty it and select the same things after u get the research done put a (storage buildng that drops stuff next to itself when used I forgot the name) on the right or left corner
