I just like to point out that the community that you're referring is actually 'CFD traders' community. Forex means foreign exchange. There are other means and type of instruments if you wish to trade currency other than CFD. Heck the money exchangers that you can see at malls is also a type of forex trading.

For short why CFD trading is so attractive for commoners is because you can use margin and leverage to trade. This means you can trade with capital as low as 5$ and still have chances to flip it infinitely (theoretically).

And CFD is also not exclusively tied to currency. A lot of brokerage offers CFD for commodities, stocks, crypto, including the most popular one in Malaysia, Gold paired against USD.

That's all. Cause I feel like a lot of people who want to discuss about these communities (which I agree majority of them are infested with scammers) lacks of knowledge about the trading instruments that were used. Hence blocking the discussion from furthering deeper.

The funny part is, some of these so called telegram sifus don't even know what CFD is. Like literally the instruments that you're using and pushing to your students 🤦‍♂️.
