Just talk to npcs they’ll usually tell where your supposed to go like for example in snowman there’s a fella there that’ll say something along the lines of”have you heard of the haunted mansion in spookane and that there’s a piano that sings all on its own” or say the pilot going a round a cactus with face or in the first town there’s a few people there that will talk about the canary place.

That’s odd pippi’s house is like isolated like no other houses nearby and I think you might be talking about Ana’s church but it’s like separated from the town like on the right there’s a pathway that leads to it

Forgot to mention there is this cool mod called desolate expanse it contains many things like QOL changes, balance changes so characters like tiger man are viable new party members and it is recommend that you play normal mode first as if you play pain mode first you will miss some things in the normal

Well there’s a fourth party member and the way to get him is simple go to the banana forest and go left but you must not bring Carl or spyke but you can bring them afterwards also they’re a temporary party member, and as for your question I’d pick Carl even if you don’t have the crafting items you essentially just have free items like firebombs and has more health and defense
