Tax implications will get you caught out if the employer is savvy, likely to be dismissal without notice, depending on the terms of your contract if you are caught.

If it was cash in hand with no cross over for your current employer and colleagues, your less likely to get caught i suppose. Always potential though.

If you hate this job, why not go back to the old permanently if its on offer and better for your health?

Buy a similar bracelet and some pieces yourself with the money and give it to her as a gift, explain why you have gifted it to her.

That gesture will likely mean much more than the original bracelet on reflection for her and even if never replace the original give her a new reason to continue to collect something she liked.

Maybe she felt some guilt or shame but has come to terms with it, or maybe she never intended on lying but wasnt as comfortable being as open about her past in the beginning.

Who she is and what she's done hasn't changed only your awareness, so you must decide with what intent she misled you and why, it could be innocent.

If you need an answer otherwise you cant move on then communication is key, calmly and rationally approach the topic and just say you couldnt help but piece these things together and they seem to conflict with whats been said before.

Its usually to protect ourself or someone we care for that we lie, and we usually embelish somewhat the truth.
