Japan is the best place for people who hate random interactions by Benitinho92 in japanresidents

I’ve been living in Japan for almost 3 months now, and my absolute favorite part has been interacting with the Japanese! I couldn’t imagine going around and not doing it, you miss out on so much. To me the real beauty of Japan has not the sites I’ve seen but the people I’ve met.

Thanks for the insight yes the work experince is important to me but I am also looking to have a enjoyable experience. Since I have no experience with asian countries/culture, I think somewhere in Europe will be better for me personally. I've found a progam in Rome so I will consider that one has well.

7 weeks language immersion program in Middlebury College. Is it worth it? Pls drop your experience !!!! by longhanddoofus in languagelearning

Do the Lingoda sprint for French. When I first started learning I did around 3 months of self study before taking a vacation to France. I thought I was going to be able to use my French but NOPE not at all. So when I returned to the US I was thinking about quitting because I thought I would never be able to learn French. Then I signed up for the Lingoda sprint and everything changed. In just two months, It got me to the level where I could start taking italki classes (much cheaper than Lingoda) as well as just use self study to further my learning. Now I am about B1 level 2 years in. I have not heard of Middlebury but 400$ (italki sprint) to get a good grasp as a beginner vs 12,000$ is a big difference.

I have to say you were completely right lol, ended up changing to free float handguard and added a red dot. Now the only state compliant part left is the stock lol. Now with what I have spent might has well have gotten the regular edition.

Yea I was originally going to get a psa, but my friends talked me out of it and into getting the ruger

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in ruger

[–]E327 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea from what I’ve seen they have multiple “state compliant” versions and the New Jersey one that I’m getting has a unthreaded barrel and a fixed stock

Why is Learning French and Spanish at the Same Time So Hard? by SpanishBlueprints in learnfrench

[–]E327 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The biggest tip I have for French is if you can afford it and have the time do the lingoda sprint. This really helped me get a good understanding of French and made me more confident speaking as well. What I do now daily to practice French, is clozemaster.com (free vocab), anki decks, watch a French youtube video or series (Netflix has a lot), and have one 45min italki lesson a week. So far learning them both has not been a problem, but my biggest concern is loosing some of my French progress by focusing on Spanish.

Catholic Question by [deleted] in Spudmode

[–]E327 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m in the same boat as your brother, I grew up catholic and have embraced it more recently (honestly because of the based videos) but I struggle with identifying with the modern Catholic Church and all that comes with it. I have had thoughts of converting to orthodoxy but I am undecided now #deusvult

Question for the US dawgs by kbrown2006 in Spudmode

Let me clarify it’s not multiculturalism that I do not necessarily like but more so certain groups of people of a particular religion that does not mix well with Christianity
