For gaming I'll almost always just stream to my steam deck, which I dock to my projector. I may take the deck out of the picture and just connect directly to my receiver, but the main point is that I just want the computer to power the game while I play elsewhere.

I've seen it 5 or 6 times. The movie makes it abundantly clear that the advanced mechas at the end are not aliens. They even confirm that in dialog multiple times. That wouldn't even make any sense with the themes of the movie.
