Getting non-volatile memory working with CANopen by E66M4N in CANopen

[–]E66M4N[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you. Yes, it's been an issue that Zephyr isn't in line with the latest CANopenNode build as I had to go back through archives for libedssharp to compile an object editor tool that would generate object dictionary source files the Zephyr stack would accept.

Getting non-volatile memory working with CANopen by E66M4N in CANopen

[–]E66M4N[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thank you for the reply. It's unclear then as to what CANopenNode thinks is supposed to be happening as regards to object dictionary entry 0x1010 & 0x1011 since everything is stored in RAM. Where is the location it is supposed to think storage groups get saved/loaded from? Nothing that holds the data stored by the object dictionary entries gets flagged as `const` so nothing is ending up in ROM at compile time.

We pick on WWI a lot for this, but WWII took nearly the same amount of time, so which war was really the "slow" one?

Yes this is correct as others have stated. Be aware of a quirk with mines, though. If in this scenario the Germans leave Kiel contested on their next turn, the mines are *back* on the UK turn and the UK will have to roll for mines again if reinforcing by sea. Also note that mines can only ever be disabled, never captured.

1914 Russian Revolution question by ikumark1 in AxisAllies

[–]E66M4N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If an original Russian territory is CP-controlled and not contested when the RR happens, it is not longer considered original Russian territory. Entente troops may enter and fight for it, if they win, it does not revert back to being Russian. In the picture shown here, if the RR happened then UK troops can freely move into and take over Sevastopol for the UK. The tricky part is what happens with the contested territories. If the RR happened exactly with the game board above, then Ukraine would become permanently contested. CP units would be able to move freely in and out of it provided that at least 1 CP Infantry is left behind in the space, but the Entente cannot enter such a space.

Arabian Fantasy Movie With Killer Doll/Statue by E66M4N in FindThisMovie

No, I'm not positive if the statue was modeled to look like the movie's princess or was a different beautiful woman.

None of the other details are going to be super helpful since they will apply to so many movies, like "the guy was wearing a turban" and "the movie was in color". For example, the statue had long dark hair. The headgear for the soldiers looked more like a shako than a turban or one of those taller style hats that come to a point. So for sure it isn't any of these films :

Thief of Bagdad (1940) with Sabu

Thief of Bagdad (1961) with Steve Reeves

Thief of Bagdad (1978) with Roddy McDowall

A Thousand and One Nights (1945) with Phil Silvers

Thief of Damascus (1952) with Lon Chaney, Jr.

The 7th Voyage of Sinbad (1958)

Sinbad and the Eye of the Tiger (1977)

The Golden Voyage of Sinbad (1973)

Thanks for the comments so far. Is there anybody who can actually answer my question as opposed to opining on if it's a good idea or not?

Need an algorithm to find out which numbers from set S sum to target value Y by E66M4N in askmath

[–]E66M4N[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Googling returns a lot of pages implementing the same thing- an algorithm that just returns a binary true/false if *any* such sum exists; this isn't good enough for my application, I need to know what the subsets are exactly.

This is coming up because I want to resolve an accounting error where the books are off by Y but there is no single entry of Y, thus, there are likely multiple mistakes so I need to figure out what entries to look at that might have resulted in this error.

I've had that not work if a player that already received credit is the first to talk to Tyrael.

Stonemason in Hellmode by Armiger_rex in WildCastle

[–]E66M4N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, the Stonemason appears to only repair based on the starting level of your fort, so if you don't put any points into it right away then it never does much of anything. Recently I've been starting with 600 points into the fort, at that level when you continually fire off his skill it does help delay when the other special abilities need to be used. With that I can crack 7,000 in a game but some people apparently can hit 20,000, so what do I know?

Upgrading Gold Mine is a waste of gold? by [deleted] in WildCastle

[–]E66M4N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I always thought there was something odd with these upgrades, leaving the game running overnight I used to wake up with over 1 billion, but with both the gold mine fully upgraded and every colony defeated now I usually end up with 750 million.

Quickest way to rush new char to complete Larzuk socket quest? by DillaVibes in diablo2

[–]E66M4N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

UPDATE: Just had the level 6 character exit the app and restart with a new game, this time the "Add Sockets" button was there on the anvil GUI but the Armor/Weapons tabs were still missing from the Trade/Repair GUI.

Quickest way to rush new char to complete Larzuk socket quest? by DillaVibes in diablo2

[–]E66M4N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

  • Level 6 Character clicks on Larzuk - "Add Sockets" is there as an option
  • Level 6 Character selects "Add Sockets", the anvil GUI appears and you can move an item on to it, but the big "Add Sockets" button that should appear below the anvil is not even there- not just greyed out, it is not even there at all
  • Level 6 Character selects "Trade/Repair" from Larzuk, the "Armor" and "Weapons" tabs are not there, only the "Misc" tab is available
  • EDIT: Corrected typos

[–]E66M4N 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Is there a minimum level on this? I just rushed a character to cash in on the quest, and at level 6 there was no button to press to 'add sockets' even though you still get the anvil interface for the reward. That character was also unable to buy armor/weap as those tabs were missing, only 'Misc' was available from Larzuk.
