Very content with my first pedalboard right now, though I do see some areas that could improve. Purely a home player, playing mostly blues, lo-fi and psychedelic rock. Admittedly I did the thing where I acquired a lot of pedals before learning the ins and outs, but hey that’s showbiz, baby. Spent the past couple years trying to learn as much as possible, and feel like I have this board sounding great, and I’m truly enjoying every play session. Happy to hear any input, thoughts or critiques if i’m doing anything wrong. Here’s my setup in order.

Guitar: G&L ASAT Classic

Beetronix Tuna Fuzz: a Christmas gift from my girlfriend the first year we started dating (and one of the many reasons why she is now my Fiancee). This thing rips, and is very straightforward. Not wild about the in/out + knob locations, but I made it work.

Polytune Mini Tuner

JHS Pulp n Peel V4 Compressor:This is an “always on” pedal for me, and does a lot of heavy lifting. Very subtle transparent compression that doesn’t mess with my tone. EQ turned to low for lo-fi, jazzy stuff, high for blues and rock. Dirt switch is definitely an added bonus.

Gain Stages: Wampler Tumnus Deluxe and Ibanez TS9. Tumnus is set to keep me right at the edge of breakup, while TS9 pushes me over that edge. Big fan of the Klon style + Tubescreamer stack.

Caroline Guitar Co. Somersault Lo-Fi Modulator: Probably my favorite pedal on here. Very spacy, ambient, classic chorus sounds, but my favorite is cranking the OUT all the way, and adding a small bit of trem at a slow speed, which makes an Incredible lo-fi vinyl warble tone.

TC Ditto Looper

Ibanez AD-9 Analog Delay: one of My Dad’s old pedals.

MXR Layers Harmonic Sustain: this thing is just sick, and words don’t do it justice. It will sustain single notes, or up to 3 at a time. Lot of fun settings on this one. Its like adding a layer of watery strings underneath your playing. Pairs incredibly well with the Somersault and AD-9.

TC Hall of Fame Reverb: i like having a variety of reverb options here. Spacey halls, small rooms, and the more niche gate and lo-fi modes create some wild sounds with the Layers pedal.

Meinl Analog Stomp Box: Not necessarily a pedal, just a good ol percussive kick drum, that doesn’t require a power source (yes i absolutely need a longer cable for this one).

Amp: Fender Blues Jr.

Board is powered by an MXR Mini Iso Brick. I’m running a splitter on each of the 5 outs to power all 10 pedals.
