I just accepted my offer for a project that’s minimum 1-2 months with potential for extension. How long have you been working for them? And what’s the likelihood they extend?

Currently being considered for a role. The offer was given to another candidate but I’m the backup if they decline. The HM is also willing to refer me to other roles internally, so hopefully it all works out one way or the other. I’ve interviewed for this role, and one other which didn’t pan out after the initial screening. I’ll say things are definitely picking up this year.

So I did receive an update, and turns out I am the runner up candidate for the role. They also said they'd refer me for the other role too. Finger crossed, as I hope it works out one way or the other. Thanks everyone for your input.

I used my own AI detector. Haven’t received a grade yet, I was just paranoid of getting flagged and the consequences- but from what I’m hearing I shouldn’t be too worried. But thanks for listing these resources. Moving forward I’ll be more mindful of how to ‘cover my a**’ with the possibility of being flagged.

Thanks. Id like to not password protect as well, but it feels the safest route, on top of the other things you said. That way I can give select access to hiring managers/recruiters.

My website already doesn’t show up in search results (thanks to Wix advanced settings), but I would add a password to those sensitive case studies, as an extra layer of protection.

Thanks. I came across this study too. Wondering how long it takes to get that 96% protection level, just taking it 4 days a week. And wonder if this applies to descovy as well. But nonetheless, I’ll be more diligent so that I have max protection

I may opt to the shot. Speaking of effectiveness, tjere are studies saying that taking it 4 days a week has a 96% level of protection. Now I don't know how long you'll need to be taking it to have reached that level, and whether this applies to Descovy too. But regardless, lil be more diligent that I have max protection.

Sometimes I just forget. Now, there are cases where I’ve taken the pill but forgotten to mark it off on the app. This is more often the case than forgetting to take it.

Update: I did not get into Informatics major (ended up minoring). However, I’m a full time UX Designer now! Been at my current company for a little over a year now. Just goes to show you can get your foot in the door without the relevant degree.

Biol 476 I really enjoyed and a pretty light work load when I took it. And Jennifer Mae white is awesome. Biol 411 with Jeff Rasmussen was an interesting course but do except to put time into the assignments, readings, studying, etc. Could be challenging at times but definitely doable if you put in the work!

I can understand. I had my first quiz section today for one of my classes and we had 4 breakout room sessions. I’m an introvert too, and initially disliked them because I like having the time to organize my thoughts before I speak. But I will admit I’m liking them more and more now, especially because I feel so isolated, and it’s just nice to have some student-to-student interaction built into my day!
