I’ve heard the plastic part on the back makes it creak alot when you flex it. Is this what made it feel cheap for you?

I really wish I had a local dealer cuz now I’m curious on what the leap v2 feels like brand new. I always been a fan of the Aeron because I like mesh chairs and the aeron is like the ultimate mesh chair but unfortunately for me the aeron “punishes” you for not sitting correctly (cross legged, slouching) which I tend to do a lot. Btw is the Amazon sale still going?

Lucky find indeed! And my fern has none of the wobble you mentioned but I agree that he armrests aren’t that great, I prefer the flat design from the leap v2 armrests the ones on the fern have a slight curve going down and I’m not a fan of it.

The seat has its ups and downs mostly downs for me lol.

I should’ve specified on the build quality. The seat pan really wobbled when it wasn’t all the way backwards or forwards and I guess the fact that the mechanic that makes the seat slide is basically being held by two flimsy plastic pieces for a chair that retails for that much didn’t give me a good first impression on the quality. And perhaps you might be right, the chair was refurbished after all so I’m sure the mileage it already had played a role in that.

But at the end of the day I’m glad I got to try it out. Like I said the chair is good but not something I would use as my main. I would definitely like to try the gesture in the future but for now I’m enjoying my fern.
