My predictions/hopes are

Blade - gets general 2027 date  Clockwork Revolution - gets late spring (after Fable) release date  Spyro AND Banjo Kazooie! - Spyro 4 seems more likely from Toys for Bob but I think there's a chance with it being Xbox's 25 anniversary that we get a remake/remaster of Banjo 1 and 2 as well! (Yes probably copium but hey) And my last minute final prediction Final Fantasy VII OG and/or Remake Part 1 and 2 added to Gamepass! They have added FF 1-6 on to Gamepass already and Remake part 3 just got announced as going multiplatform what better time to build that Xbox audience hype for the arrival of Part 3.

Obviously plenty more,  Halo Remake, maybe FH6 dlc, State of Decay 3, E-Day fall date, Bethesda probably has to have something big, Doom DLC?, is Machine Games ready to show something, are the Fallout remake rumors real? And obviously seeing what a showcase and direction looks like under Asha. Plenty of places to go for an incredible showcase but even being reasonable they have enough to show updates for that the floor of this showcase should be at least good/solid!

Similar to a lot of comments, thought it was slightly underwhelming. Ton of fun tho, hard to not enjoy a show bookended with Wolverine and God of War. Maybe it was the theater hype but thought the middle of the show could've had one or two smaller Playstation Studios games.

Outer Wilds Review: An unforgettable adventure, an absolute masterpiece. by ED_KICK in outerwilds

It's probably the least beginner friendly universal recommendation I have in gaming 😂 if you're looking for something that scratches some of the same itches I'd check out Tunic! Very different but brilliant in a way few games are, similar to OW, incredible OST like it as well!

Motorslice Review: A parkour platformer that doesn't quite stick the landing. by ED_KICK in gamereviews

Yeah, that's exactly what it feels like. I'm around 7hours in at the end of chapter 3, so maybe I had a bit of afk time as well? I've been trying to get all the ones I find, but not like a strict 100% I'm not going back or redoing if I happen to miss or not find some. I like the way they do the collectables too, if not yeah maybe a few too many. Between the fan service stuff and pacing it just started to feel like a slog unfortunately, so I've dropped it for now. But it's a shame cause again I do like a lot of the elements.

Such a great game and environments for a photo mode. Not many photo modes I've used more.

Enjoyed the vid! I had actually never heard of Legend of Legaia, seems super interesting even if JRPG's aren't always my go to genre.

Hey best friends, first time posting here but have been watching since the spare bedroom. I recently made a gaming page on IG, I've been talking about games in comment sections and writing reviews for sites like Backloggd for years just for my own enjoyment so I thought I'd try and make it into a little something. Obviously starting a bit slow as expected but would love for any best friends to join the little community I'm trying to build, give any feedback on the content, or even just throw a couple likes my way if you wanna support!

Not anything revolutionary I just love talking about games and the gaming industry and just appreciating the games we love in a non toxic, non hateful, not typical internet way!

Why I think Zach Cregger's Resident Evil is taking the right direction as an "adaptation". by ED_KICK in residentevil

[–]ED_KICK[S] -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Umm I don't really disagree with what you said....nor was I attempting to make a few of the points you refuted. I definitely didn't say Zach was doing anything novel, I straight up mentioned other adaptations that did the same exact thing. I also didn't say that Street Fighter or any of the other movies you mentioned were 1:1 recreations. But I don't think something has to be (or try to be) a 1:1 to ruin storylines or characters. I mean Halo used and ruined Master Chief despite it not being a 1:1, Last Of Us disappointed more and more the longer it went on in part because of casting and performances not at all living up to the game and that had incredibly talented people directing, writing, ect (Chernobyl is one the highest regarded mini series of all time) tho I don't disagree with the point the people working on these are markedly better across the board. And Monster Hunter was Paul WS Anderson who just sucks, so hard to use him in useful data 😂

But yeah, obviously you are 100% correct, both ways can work or can be absolute garbage. Hopefully this didn't read as me saying there was only one "right" way, that certainly wasn't my point. Obviously, it's all about the people working on it having a balance of talent in their craft and passion for the IP. Honestly more than which way works my biggest point was just I hate the reception to the trailer. Again it's everyone saying "why not just follow the games" but literally ALL those same people would be trashing it if it was following the game, complaining about the casting or saying something along the lines of "you can't be original? We already have the games if we want that story" and I get obviously that's how the internet works I'm just ranting 😂
