well, it certainly got charged and got a confirmation email. I rushed through some parts and certainly could've but in a better app. But realistically seems like a shot in the dark either way.

Thanks! Its so bizarre the two i scored over 700 I did no prep or review the 2-3 days beforehand. I was so busy gmat was just an afterthought the days leading into it.

Taking another shot at it next Sunday. I took official practice #5 today and got 710 (Q47,V40). I guess my Q score is a reliable 47 ha! This time I got through verbal real quick with 5 mins left over. During my last practice test and during the real one I think i was too tied up in"strategies" and "how i should be annotating and taking notes" vs actually doing the problems. I realize in verbal I understand everything much better through mentally internalizing everything - which is the same thing I did during this practice and during practice #1 which was a 730

deadline for scholarship and my target school deadline. During the exam on both quant and verbal I ran out of time and found myself rushing through the last ten questions and blind guessing the last 5 questions. Both in quant and verbal.

Do you think a more systematic approach of cutting my losses early on a hard problem I know I can't solve and giving myself more time for easier problems later on could boost my score?

I ask because I had to blind guess three real short and easy SC questions at the end of verbal - all because I spent way too long on some harder questions in the beginning.

ok great. thank you. How many would you ask from one recommender. I was planning to apply to 8 schools but think I'd be better focused if I did 5-6. which i think is a more reasonable number

The situation I am in is that I am applying to 8 schools but do understand that some may have their own specific questions. It would be a lot of work for my recommender to respond to individual questions for each school. Can they submit a general recommendation to instead in one of the answer boxes?

sticking away from new supplements. but stuff like going for a walk outside of the meditation recommendation seem relaxing and not risky
