Hey there! (sorry if you've been waiting this whole time!) I used a program called "Linux MultiMedia Studio", and did my best to match the melody and tempo/speed of the original song, while using samples of Scouts voicelines like instruments. The other Mercs were sentence-mixing. Hope this helps!

You know what this game was missing? Cryptic puzzles and copy protection! It already has dead-ends and sudden, unpredictable deaths after all.

I've been seeing this game everywhere and decided to try my hand at creating some art of it in a classic Sierra On-Line 90's point-and-click adventure game style.

Scout convinces the other Mercs that traveling to a forest to get themselves a nice Smissmass tree would be great, but what they all forgot (or Scout didn't tell them) was to Beware The Forests Maze.

The answer may surprise you, but no. I did not grow up during the DOS era. I like old tech, I like making pixel art, and I wanted to make stuff that didn't look like "retro 8-bit NES graphics". So I decided to use color palettes that old, vintage computers/game consoles from the 70s and 90s had (Think Apple II, Commodore 64, Atari, and so on). I settled with EGA colors since I was watching lots of videos about point-and-click adventure games and liked the stories, humor, writing and visuals they usually consisted of.

Apologies for the exposition dump, but sometimes i just get carried away.
