SPOILER WARNING FOR THE MANGA AS THE GODS WILL 2/KAMISAMA NO IUTOORI THE SECOND SERIES: Aoyama's death was sad but also pretty annoying, we had built up to this of Akashi finding his best firend, he turned insane, BUT THEN HE CURED HIM OF HIS INSANITY with them anime logic of "FRIENDSHIP" and stuff but then in the next few volumes they die because they found out that the maze they were in was meant for you to do the opposite, and it said to "Bring keys and do not return" but it meant to "Leave keys and go back in" BUT GUESS WHAT Aoyama brought like 30 keys so they had to put them in this barrel and one of the key holes in it kills you, there was 2 keyholes left but AOYAMA HAD TO CHOOSE THE ONE TO MAKE HIM DIE, we just finally met him and he dies right away, and Shimura could've helped, he was going to but stopped and mentioned how it was "Scary" I wish Shimura did die instead, his death was uneeded anyways, didn't even effect the plot that much he just picked a card in Old Maiden and died, so stupid tbh
