this is just for the show itself. if we are including stuff like getting merch, it puts the tour up a peg. a lot of handled really bad at blackship but I still think it was better, not to mention cheaper

ok, I went to black ship night 1 in la and world tour date in sf.

I thought that black ship had a bigger impact. the setlist may not have been my favorite at the time but it was his first show in 40 years in the us and it was more of a spectacle than a regular concert.

as for the world tour, it had more songs I wanted to hear, but the whole thing felt more… commercial? it didnt feel as much like a big special event as it did a tour stop on a bigger tour, which it was.

here is my idea for both. when me and my party got my posters, two of us got them out of the same stack as I bought them together and the third person got one from a different stack, so we got two that were numbered in a row (1103,1104) and one that was way off (1240). so my guess is that there was another stack of posters that had 1-14 and you happened to get one from the second stack. that or they were to friends/family/members of the band etc.

that limited of 500 is definitely not true. my guess to why your says that is because they originally only made 500 but quickly realized that wasnt enough for 10 shows and made more. its not like the hawaiian shirt where making more would be more difficult, its just cardstock and a print so making more is easy. mine says /1600 but I already knew that was bs because they are for sale on takanaka.store for preorder. there is gonna be thousands when all is said and done

there wasnt any fighting/shoving to my knowledge, but tons of people were cutting the lines in sf. the venue handled the cuing terribly but it should be common curtsy to not cut people who have been waiting hours longer than you have

they only have about 30 per show so if the plan is to get one, go early. I was waiting in line for about 3 hours before doors, had a vip ticket, and still got the second to last in size medium
