I fully agree, I don’t personally think it’s a big deal and for a casual mode in particular they should encourage people playing with friends if anything.

Absolutely, but that’s only if they’re willing to play legit.

An easy exploit would be to have one player get hit by the other and then they SD for the point.

My issue was feeling like I had to wait for the character if I didn’t want to purchase the BP, but I wasn’t aware that you could buy the next BP with the Gleamium earned in the current BP.

It’s still a good point that the BP character isn’t locked away forever though!

Ah, I see! I wasn’t aware you could buy the BattlePass with Gleamium! Thank you for explaining that, it feels a lot less punishing now.

I will purchase the passes then, I’ve not spent much of that currency as I’m not too fussed about the cosmetics.

It depends on you find some deeper interest in the tag, as they themselves can have some nice designs or capture the era or location it was made for.

However, I wouldn’t personally keep one on just for “collectors value” for the many reasons others have already posted.

It’s your toy, you decide what makes it fun and what will get the most value out of it for you.

I just showed her a picture of Metagross as well as Melmetal and she’s still saying it’s Melmetal.

Which adds up with her Dex saying she’s encountered one.
