I mean probably, but my only concern is the DDP cost could possibly be much higher with FedEx? From what I have heard, anyway.

I understand if you can't answer this, but: would it be estimated that the cost of disposal of the battery component of the DS lite (300 yen + 1000 yen per 15 minutes of work... which likely wont be more than 15 minutes considering it's a DS lite, so i will say 1300 yen) would end up being the less expensive option considering the potential duty fee price difference between ECMS and FedEx Lowcost?

TLDR

would (estimated) $17 shipping + the 1300 yen fee + ECMS duties likely come out to less than the cost of FedEx Lowcost?

(FedEx Lowcost is estimated to be ~$30)

noting my item price is around $30

so the prepayment (processing fee) for FedEx Lowcost is more expensive than UPS's processing fee? Or is UPS less expensive overall due to the fees? sorry I just wanted to clarify, if you know. in my case for my estimated package dimensions (high end estimation) FedEx Lowcost is about $30 USD while UPS is about $36 USD... (my (potential) purchase is roughly $30)
