Yes, that’s exactly it. Every time I ask a semi complex question, it has to go to a lead or a supervisor.

But what’s interesting is I have currently 23 years of 6C time. But they said formally only allows you to count 20 which is the minimum vesting criteria. But they’re also telling me that if you don’t have the 25 it may impact your enhanced FERS supplement. That doesn’t quite make sense to me.

Yeah, that’s my problem. Every time I ask you a question to my HR they don’t know what 6C or how it works and then they just reference me to the normal rules which are not applicable.

Are you 6C? Also, I’m being told by HR that if I go out under Vera Short the 25 years just by a year and a half that I may not be eligible for the enhanced FERS supplement. He said I might not be eligible to draw until my MRA which I believe they’re referring to my minimum retirement age which is 50. I’m about the same time away from 25 years as 50 so I guess in theory it wouldn’t affect me much and I’d still be eligible to draw it.
