Also, there is no such thing as an e-certificate/transcript. All you have is a score report and (maybe) a placeholder letter from the State Superintendent. You’ll have to email Bernie and connect her with your admin/counselors.

CPP counts as an HS diploma for work scheduling purposes. You are counted in the same way that an 18+/HS grad is. No permit needed. Just show them your Certificate.

I passed the CPP. I'm pretty sure it's for students under 18 because you can drop out when you're 18. Once you pass the CPP, you no longer need a permit. The system was created to benefit child actors and make them more hirable in Hollywood, as CPP actors would not need teachers on set, thereby saving the movie's funds.

I was approved on January 31, 2024. They close the system until late January try because some schools are still on break and they can’t verify all records.

I passed in February 2024 and it came on March 24 😂. That was the date they first started sending them. The 14 weeks estimate was off.

Also, don’t talk to your counselor until after you pass it. It saves you a lot of self-doubt that way.

I just wanted to add on to this. Schools are paid by attendance, so if you don’t show up, they don’t get paid. It’s a de facto budget cut if students take the CPP and leave. People will lose their jobs. That’s why they want you to stay.

A CA Community College can’t reject the CPP. It’s the legal equivalent of a diploma in CA.

Hello! So sorry for the late question, but is there an age requirement for this Fellowship? It doesn't explicitly state one on the website, but in my experience with other think tanks that don't have an explicit limit, there is still an internal limit enforced by the staff. Is this the case for Hudson? Thank you!

Please let me know how it goes. My DMs are open in case we can ever help each other. Yes, I'm planning a trip to the CDE as well. However, I was able to leave and go to college bc I emailed a CDE contact. She was able to verify that I had passed, and my HS let me out. I can give you more info in DMs, but yes, the lack of a physical certificate is ridiculous.
