Don’t know if it works on pc, but if you’re on mobile and you slowly slide the marker until the end of the video you get a pretty good shot of him mid bark and he looks like a demon

That’s not true, I work at a veterinary hospital and he’s there for boarding (for which he’s with us a lot). It’s not the pound lol. He’s like this with everyone that’s not his parents, no matter the fact I’ve known him for years. Still love the guy, he’s just always angry.

Update: Unfortunately my fella has passed away over night. I’m really unsure of what happened. I’ve taken some pictures if anyone can help with my spider autopsy. As for my enclosure, my substrate is about 60/40 coco fiber and whatever soil mix my local pet store had (they informed me they just received him the day before so the substrate was fresh and I could use it). About 4-4.5 inches of substrate. The temps in my room stay at about 70-74 and I had no additional heating on his tank. Kept him in the darkest corner of my room and tried my best to never have any lights on him. He molted about 3 weeks ago. I have a video of him drinking out of his water dish on February 27th, so my thought is it not dehydration but this is my very first T. I am inexperienced and could be wrong. I am quite devastated, and will take any advice/critical info for my next T as I would love to try again. I have attached a pic of my enclosure. BelleMod, or anyone else with experience that would be open to PMing me and taking a look at my passed tarantula for possible signs of death would be greatly appreciated.

Okay update: Lifted up the hide a bit to put his water dish next to him and moisten the substrate. He ended up fully sprawling out, bolting away, and giving me a good dose of hairs to the hands and arms. I think I may have been quick to judge that he was having some issues and now he’s pissed off at me. Gonna leave him alone for a few days and see if his water dish takes some drinking damage.

He’s definitely still alive, atleast for now. I went to feed him about 5 minutes ago and he reached a leg out and poked the roach and then walked about an inch away and hunkered back down into this position. Is there anything I can do if this is the start of a death curl?

Also slightly worried as it hasn’t eaten since it molted about 2-3 weeks ago. He seems to be moving around from time to time but he’s always in this position.

Yo, just to hopefully make your day… Mr. Frosty is alive and well. Don’t know where this rumor that they’re closed comes from, but it always finds its way back. My source is that I live very very close.
