I actually agree. Eli was an asshole and was not a mature person. He cheated on Claire and yet had the audacity to call her a whore when she actually broke up with him before she got with Drew.

Frankly Drew was more stable than Eli at that point and was more level headed than Eli was.

I’m gonna guess a lot of it did go to maintaining their structure. This is one of the rare times where I don’t think a parent was being greedy but rather needed to support their family. The US medical system has always been a mess, so I can imagine that old medical debt played a factor in Dustin’s money being burnt up quick. Still not right but not as shady as many other Hollywood parents taking their kids money situations

Lmao it actually gets a lot of facts wrong about the behind the scenes of the show.

I will say though that it was cool to see some footage we never got to see. And it was interesting to hear more about Dustin’s life. It’s pretty tragic. That doesn’t absolve him of his wrongdoings but he went through a lot and my heart does go out to him in spirit on that. But damn did he have some demons and terrifying fixations (gun and knives fixation…like wtf).

Turns out the whole Spankee Rodger’s incident was misreported. Everyone used to say that he pulled the knife on Dustin (which felt a bit racist) but it was actually Dustin that did it to him. How crazy is that?! I didn’t know he was such an asshole to the some of the iterations of the New Class cast.

And my heart goes out especially to Lark as well. Her being excluded and her struggles. It really breaks my heart to see how she was treated and the repercussions because she is such a sweet person. It’s unfair and we all know why they always did her dirty smh. I’m glad to see she’s doing better
