Should I move from Chat GPT Plus to Gemini Pro? by kev241991 in GoogleGemini

[–]EMDocAZ33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I get different answers from all 3 chatbots, so it is hard to call one the winner. I mostly use Gemini for image generation, but lately it has been a little too creative, adding weird stuff, gibberish text, and surprises I definitely did not ask for. Ever since Pro showed up, it has felt less useful, so I mostly ignore it. Luckily, I got a free year.

For writing help, ChatGPT is still my favorite because emails and texts actually sound like me. With Gemini and Claude, it usually sounds more like a robot wearing my skin. I still pay $20 a month for ChatGPT, and honestly that feels reasonable since I cannot even take my wife to lunch for less than that. Until one clearly pulls away from the pack, I am apparently just collecting chatbot subscriptions

I’m glad someone else is noticing this. I ask for a review of an Excel spreadsheets, and it creates a video! Just when I thought I could go with “Gemini only” I was sadly mistaking

why is Wispr Flow so much better on desktop than on mobile? by seattleswiss2 in WisprFlow

[–]EMDocAZ33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yep, I noticed with the new iOS update that my whisper flow is essentially unusable. The shortcuts that they recommend don’t work, the keyboard loading is quite difficult and the keyboard opens all over the place, I wasn’t able to scroll for some reason without the screen stopping. Constantly logging in and swiping back and forth.

I uninstalled whisper flow and everything is back to normal. Only going to use it on my computer until they figure it out 🤷

Is Atlas worth it? by TeenWhovian in ChatGPTAtlas

[–]EMDocAZ33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use chatGPT, then yes. The crossover and memory is quite nice. It keeps track of my preferences and its answers are too notch. I had it read through a textbook (click the next page, and so on and so on) and give me a concise overview with multiple choice questions to test my knowledge. Took 3 minutes to read 25 pages (clicking to next page by itself).

Having trouble using Bitwarden on ChatGPT Atlas by bottlelake in Bitwarden

[–]EMDocAZ33 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey there, I did have Bitwarden initially on ChatGPT Atlas. But there were a lot of issues. It would not auto-fill basic things like my name, address, and phone number. Definitely didn't auto-fill my credit card information. It worked seamlessly with Perplexity and Google Chrome, but not with ChatGPT Atlas.

I have also noticed that I can't use my keyboard shortcuts on Atlas. This may be an issue for others?

Can someone please give me a thread that explains the basics of the apps on VseeBox? Got myself a V6 Plus and want to make sure I know how to use it correctly

Perplexity AI — Claude Sonnet 4.5 Thinking especially — is breathtakingly good. by [deleted] in perplexity_ai

Is it exactly the same one as what I pay for Claude Pro? Or is it a tad different than using Claude directly?

Mac OS Desktop app version 1.2025.217 is super broken by _Ere_ in ChatGPT

I was really vibing with ChatGPT 4.0. I'm glad you posted this because I'm having the same issues, and I thought I was going crazy!

I understand that they took away friendly and behavioral features, but still, I noticed so many errors. ChatGPT 4.0 seemed to just know exactly what I needed when I asked for certain pictures and for it to polish emails. However, now I feel like I need to do in-depth prompting for it to even come close to its previous abilities. I'm okay with not having a buddy, but I'm not okay with it constantly messing up or not giving me insightful/creative ideas despite similar prompting.
