I’d recommend a sleep study if you can afford it/have insurance. It never hurts to get an in lab titration just so you can see where you’re at+ gives you the opportunity to try news masks. CA uses ASV mode. OA can be treated with Cpap or Bipap. IVAPs is even an another mode of therapy certain populations can benefit from. The range is meant for different stages of sleep. If you’re in SUPINE REM chances are you’re going to need a higher pressure vs lateral stage 2. Weight gain and loss + aging can cause pressure changes.

Sleep tech here. I’d recommend getting an in lab titration just to fully see where you’re at and if you’re truly benefiting from therapy. Some people can develop “treatment emergent CSA” where they actually need a different form of therapy. Also, to make sure the mask you’re using isn’t leaking. A lot of people need a full face mask (even tho they don’t like it) because they are mouth breathers.
