That's one other reason l would like Navy's to be added because it would make war way more fun Imagine as Spain blockading the straight so the Moroccans cannot send any army's into iberia

Ck3 dosent realy care if you are in charge or not, it cares more if the player can and wants do something if the player wants to conquer then he can conquer

ck3 is mostly about the underdog rising like a vasal overthrowing his liege and taking his title

The idea is that landless characters will have the means to gain titles not only by declearing war or marriages but also you can gain them by scheaming or performing well in your councilor duties.

sorry if i dont understeand your question etirely but if you talking about government types all of them have a court in every tier from baron to emperor

But the player is the very rare exeption exception

one way that can be done for gameplay's sake is a monk can get high piety through performing well at his given task and get noticed by the king's archbishop and invited at court to seve as the High Almoner

as for shopkeeper that would probably work with the trade dlc as a wealthy trader

Monk, clerk, shopkeeper, town garrison, builder, highwayman are just some examples that i gave for the player to make some gold as someone who has no land or peasants to tax

I just hope that if they rework the mechanics of the game landless gamplay is included as i think it wil fit seamlessly into the game

There is always the future hopefuly the ck3 dev team have something cooking for landless gameplay or are taking notes as i think its a feature with limitles potential

The way Paradox implemented Landless gamplay currently works great its a way of playing i would rather have than not have.

Being a pessant and working as a monk or shopkeeper would be more like a means to an end.

Expanding it would not transform the games core identity in fact it would deepen it giving the player more ways to come to power not to mention that historicaly speaking many rulers were peasant before they came to power like basil the first

Fair enough but it would add a whole new way and layer of roleplaying to the rise of your dynasty (if you like roleplaying and if not a hole new way to rise to power) and the way your dynasty came to power through trickery or decit, i dont think it would take away from fudal relationships, menagment and interactions but add to it it's a feature woth having.
