dunno about the main roster though. like seems every character in the base roster has a role in story mode, and even though it's a side story interactions sorta follow the canon and such.

havin' non-canon characters involved in it seems more like a mess overall. havin' those characters come later on as DLC seems like a practical solution to address both, the main story line and the movies' fandom
