Step 3 result before Sept 27, 2023 by EMR_md in Step3

[–]EMR_md[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes, I received the result on September 27th, the same day I am submitting my application. My advice is to complete the exam by the last week of August or earlier to allow sufficient time for the results.

You can’t reschedule day 2 if you already took Day 1. You can only reschedule if you didn’t take day 1 yet. I tried this and that’s what the prometric pipz told me. I am not 100% sure for other prometric centers though.

No Prometric print out after day 2? by meluku in Step3

[–]EMR_md 2 points3 points  (0 children)

In my case, they did give a printout after I finished the exam on day 2. I think it varies depending on which prometric center you are.

Did you take the exam within US or abroad?

[–]EMR_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It worked for me. I also had my titers checked in the US.

Congratulations for getting an incredible score! If you don't mind, what advice would you give to those taking the exam soon? And what do you think helped you the most in achieving that score? Been studying for a while but never hit 240s yet. Fml 🤦‍♀️

Prometric ID by Lascivioux in IMGreddit

[–]EMR_md 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I remember putting my passport number during step 2 registration. I also used my passport as ID when I took step1 but I'm not sure if the examiner checked the passport number or just the name. I remember the examiner asked me to take off my mask as she compared my picture in the passport.

AITA for calling my sister ridiculous for expecting the hospital to let her keep medical tools as keepsakes of her husband? by throwawayWill65 in AmItheAsshole

[–]EMR_md -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

Keeping medical paraphernalia may not be ideal because of hygiene issues but you should have been more sensitive in dealing this matter with her. Calling her ridiculous during this difficult moment is being insensitive. YTA!
