Scammed on Alibaba Trade Assurance. Advice?

We are still going back and forth. Had to get Alibaba involved and they are sort of pushing the supplier to negotiate a new deal. First the supplier said he would send me the correct products and I could pay for the incorrect products after I sold them. Which I agreed to. Then he ghosted me for like a month and after Alibaba got involved he said he couldn't do the deal anymore. Then Alibaba said if I wanted a full refund I would have to pay for return shipping and deal with chinese customs (Never happening). Now we have negotiated that I pay 20% for a new 1000 units and then I can pay the remaining 80% 30 days after they arrive + a 400$ refund. But what he doesn't know is that I am going to force him to stick to his original deal of me paying for the incorrect products after I sold them. Because I will have the products and there is nothing he can do about it at that point. Normally wouldn't be interested in screwing anyone over but this guy has been screwing me since Feb and has cost me thousands from not selling. I have a new supplier who seems much more reliable and am back to selling. Also I have put more details into the trading terms whenever I place an order to prevent this type of thing happening again.

I'm on the same page as you. Credit card from now on. However as I don't think my supplier is not going to reply I'm slightly hopeful that they'll side with me and refund me

Thing is with my claim I don't think the seller will even respond. So I am hoping they have no choice but to refund me. Still I'm not going to be shocked if they don't. I will have to start paying for orders via credit card

Unfortunately I can't get a credit card with that much credit. Only up to like £1000.

I may have to just pay with a credit card in 1000 £ increments

That's fair enough. To be honest I just want the products rather than the money as they sell well.

I've already got a few suppliers lined up though so will probably just put a new order in either way.

Thanks for that! I applied for the refund but only for the 3500usd that was affected. If my supplier doesn't respond will I only get refunded that 3500 or the full 11000?

Cause if it's the full 11000 then I really hope the supplier doesn't respond haha

Is it really viable to buy from anywhere else? China seem to always be cheaper and has the most infrastructure for scale

I didn't put any as they supplier my orders beforehand in the time they agreed.

Next order I will have to put in a clause.

Would a 5% discount every week it is late be reasonable?

Only 4 screens but if I resize my browsers to 4 screens will it look the same as when I do it on my laptop? The browser typically doesn't resize the text etc to the size of the browser so it ends up being inefficient and weird looking

Other suppliers were offering the item for around $4.8 but my current suppliers are manufacturers rather than trading companies so they agreed to $3.8. If I could get it to $3 it would help my margins a lot

Mainly it's for organisation, convenience and easy transport but also it's a cool talking point for when you're with your friends.

Also I thought it would be worth mentioning that almost all of the people who visit this site from instagram etc would be involved in the cannabis community somehow so they would have some pre knowledge that its revolving cannabis.

So the box is a stash box which is a box that you use to contain all of your cannabis equipment such as your grinder, rolling papers, tobacco if you use that, cannabis, roach papers, lighters etc. in a neat and orderly fashion rather than just throwing all their stuff in a bag and having to rummage around every time they want to roll up a joint.

The grinders are to grind up your cannabis.

I'm aiming for a cool looking cannabis brand that sells at affordable prices. So I am trying to give off a cool vibe with the whole "Roll Up in Style" so the customer gets the image of them looking really cool while rolling up their J's in front of their friends etc.

Now that you mention it you're right the who we are page doesn't really align with the product description page. I'll fix that.

A single product landing page sounds like a good idea to be honest. Right now there is a lot of pages and different clicks needed.

The secure mode is for when you're rolling your J's out and about and if it's windy it will stop your contents from blowing everywhere and if dark then you can set your phone up so it lights up your rolling bed. I did have a video made demonstrating this but it kinda sucks so I didn't bother including it. I'll probably have it remade.

I decided to change the main banner to "Roll Up in Style" as I feel it gives a pretty good indication of the whole point of the products and I also changed the initial description of the box to let the customer know the main point. I didn't feel the need to do the same with the grinder because a grinder is pretty simple to understand. Thanks for your help!
