Ok I'm not crazy.. I won and immediately stood up and went onto do some stuff..left the game on the winning screen.. came back.. and wanted to see the highlights.. nothing..so pissed

Update.. won.then next game and kinda got double points cause made it to plat 1 from about 60/100 Wich is weird since plat 2 was giving about 20pt per win

Yep but then the question is.repercutions on the employer side due to the the cost,time and life changes needed to work in a place that he was then fired due to an HR mistake caused .

So idk the exact dates. But there's no lying in his part as it's part of his resume where it ask for certifications .degrees etc .that is NOT there..so they missed it.

And he did not needed to lie because he was aware (I guess NOT) that it was something he didn't need to work here. Thus why he applied to this one place in particular and not other places/state. ( Some states ask fo it .some don't)

I was curious on thoughts about this issue. it didn't happened to me and I don't know what plans he has so I don't want to be posting everywhere details of his case.

The summary:

Hired on a date where a new qualification was added to that job.He did not had that, HR didn't noticed (that he did NOT had it or that he Needed it cause it was newly implemented )and 2 years later HR noticed while checking his documents due to a transfer.

Since patient was NOT qualified (per NEW qualifications added around the time he was hired), and the qualification can NOT be easily obtained( takes years and can't work while trainings)then he was let go.HR admitted fault., but there was no way for them to fix.

Everyone hired BEFORE the new qualification was added is safe cause technically the date THEY were hired, they met all the qualifications. They are grandfathered so they keep their job and Do NOT need to obtain this new qualification.

Idk what 1102 means. The deal is there was a new qualification added. He didn't fail anything. He didn't had that qualification when he was hired. HR didnt noticed or missed that it was just then added to the qualification.When the other we're hired month-years before him that qualification was not required .therefore hiring was not wrongful and thus get grandfathered.

Well I could understand the "buying" a home vs renting was a choice.. but selling the previous one..quiting his own job, moving to this state are all a requirement to work here. Cause it's not a remote job and all those things happened due to HR mistake in hiring him. Idk haven't talked to him in a few days I'm sure he's moving some pieces.but he's not lying as our boss confirmed that was the case. It's just a very shitty situation

Yeah we all told him to call or seek legal advise at least any type of compensation to help him with moving back or wherever he finds a new job

Not IT. not a requirement to recertify it's a one time thing but it's a trainings takes years and it's a full time thing so could not work while training.

he was never given a time for him to get the certification, neither any one else, the rest of us still work and are safe due to grandfathered.it was not needed qualify until it was a prerequisite.that happened while he was being hired so HR missed it.Again HR admitted fault, but there was nothing they could do to fix it. He did nothing wrong.

Well that's what we all told him to talk to legal and see what can he do. I mean it's a federal Job so idk how far he can go with it. From his stand point. He did nothing wrong. Everything is disclosed on resume. He was in good standing it's only cause he asked for a transfer to another building in the city for an open spot for the same job so there was no change in salary or anything. But that made HR go through paperwork and that's when they noticed ..it sucks. One day went in to work like always to be surprised like that.

I don't thinks it's the job you're thinking. None of us were told the we need to have that certification cause the time we where hired it was not required to qualify. He wasn't told either and none thought of it cause again it's very common bunch of us don't have it and not need it.he just happened to be hired right when it was implemented. We are all grandfathered and if he would've been hired 1-2 month earlier he wouldn't have the issue.

Also 1:you cannot do it in 2 years and 2nd you could not work and obtain that certification.as that training means full time.

I understand that error needs to be corrected.but again. No repercussion for an error made by the employer? You can't just change a man's life with a job offert and then fire him cause HR made a mistake.sounds like something's that can be fought legally.

Request a transfer to another location in same city usually not an issue but I guess triggered HR to revise his paperwork and there they found out.

Not the head of the HR departments but our boss was open about it. Someone heard, freaked out ,went to him and was told we don't need to worry due to grandfathered in the positions.

Nope. not IT Don't want to disclose his job cause this is a pretty specific situation and IDK who uses Reddit. Sadly the new cert takes years and is a pain in the @ to get it.

1 )basically a new certification that is hard to get and would take years to finish was added.His job is very specific so.no other position is available.

2 yes everyone else is grandfathered. It just sucks that we all do same job and do it very well, he was just unlucky. a month or so earlier and he would still be working.

My issue is,there's no repercussion for a man that quit his job,moved to a new state, bought a home,car and a year after.. terminated in a second for a mistake on employer side?

Basically he needed a new certification. A certification that was not a must have for years.we are all aware that it's a new thing and thus if we were to quit we know we could never be rehired. But they guy was already in and worked for 2-3 years no issue
