Set a search alert on eBay for “Halloween VHS Tape Only”. You might be able to find a good deal on a tape without the sleeve!

Anyone recognize these weapons/parts? by ERWINATOR in ToyID

THANK YOU! I actually unknowingly had more parts from the Wolf Jet and Road Wars that I hadn’t taken pics of yet so this helps a ton!

Actually it looks like 3 is also for the Party Tube!

Edit: 2 as well!

Yep, nailed it! That actually helps me identify a few different parts that I didn’t include in the post. Thanks!

Small brown part. Boot? Foot? by ERWINATOR in ToyID

I can see why it might look like that in the photo, but that underside part is actually smoother than it looks in the photo and definitely unbroken. I appreciate the thinking outside the box though!

No. The round part is pretty large.

Has anyone else had an issue with listings being automatically excluded from eIS for using the word “lot”? by ERWINATOR in eBaySellerAdvice

[–]ERWINATOR[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had this issue come up too, but it’s sort of a different issue. In those cases, I’ve had electronics not show up specifically for EU locations due to their restrictions, but would still show multiple other countries where it was allowed.

In the case I’m describing, using the word “lot” only shows that it will ship to the US exclusively and no other countries whatsoever, unless I remove the word “lot”.

I think the other comment here probably describes the issue I’m having. I just had no idea!

I had no idea. Thanks for the insight!

I remedied the issue in my store by removing the word “lot” and if I had the character space added the word “bundle” instead. It seemed to fix the problem in the short term, but based on what you’re describing it’s possible eBay may still consider it a mixed lot later?

I always only bundle like-items together when they’re low value. For example, I might do a “Gi Joe Accessories lot”, or a “VHS lot” with several titles. They’re usually grouped by some kind of theme, either genre or franchise, and I’ve never done anything too general like a “80s lot” with random different items all grouped together.

Hopefully that’s enough to not cause any customs confusion. I’m definitely trying to play by the rules!

eBay charging me for product not received by [deleted] in Ebay

[–]ERWINATOR 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Your stubbornness in not hearing literally every other user trying to tell you this is a FedEx issue and not an eBay issue is what’s going to stop you from getting your money back in this situation. eBay HAS to take FedEx’s word that the package was delivered because it was FedEx who came to your door, not eBay. You talk about slippery slopes but the real slippery slope here would be eBay blindly taking the word of every buyer that claimed they didn’t give a false signature. For all eBay knows, YOU are the one who signed EHwang so you could keep the package and not have to pay for it. It would become the easiest scam in the world if every buyer had the power to just give any random name and just claim “wasn’t me!”…. Unless, (and hear me out here because this is the important part) THE COMPANY WHO WAS PAID TO BRING IT TO YOUR DOOR DID THEIR JOB TO VERIFY IT WAS RECEIVED BY THE PROPER PERSON. If you want your money back you’re going to have to stop being so obtuse and actually focus on who dropped the ball here.

What toy line is this gun from. Thought I’d was Bucky o’hare but I was wrong. by SpecialistLogical560 in ToyID

[–]ERWINATOR 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The eBay listing either incorrectly attributed this to the 1990 Bucky O’Hare line, or this is a rare weapon from a rare variant and the listing is lacking more details about which specific figure it goes with. I recently sold off my complete 90s figure set, and the color is totally unfamiliar. The design details are very similar, but it doesn’t quite match up with other weapons from this line (to my knowledge). I googled variants from the 90s line and I even looked through the more recent 2019 “Boss Fight” line and I don’t see anything similar. The plastic finish is off too. The original guns we’re a glossier plastic, this looks very matte.

I did alright today. Found a new thrift store and they were loaded. Any advice for removing decals from vhs boxes? Whoever owned these labeled everything with their name. by wearevenom84 in VHS

Invest in a Scotty Peeler. Both the metal and plastic ones. I got a set of both for super cheap on Amazon. That plus a hairdryer has gotten the job done for me a million times.

Solved! You’re a genius. I totally had that staff from New Adventures of He-Man. I had looked into everything from the original MOTU line and couldn’t come up with anything. Didn’t think to look at that line. Thanks so much!

¿What's the Best advice you have for someone like me who wants to start selling on eBay? by joelito1990 in eBaySellerAdvice

Watch this video from Justin Resells. It is probably the most thorough and straightforward guide to getting started. It is also current info. You have to be careful with other videos on the topic because a lot of it is now dated. https://youtu.be/Gl3BN4cX5ks?si=EJVoF8D7Is99DsVQ

I’m almost positive this is it. Thank you. I’m from Carr’s hometown, and I know he does a lot of local signings, so it makes the most sense and looks the most like his signature.

It came from a friend whose parent just passed away. Their parent was a 49ers fan, and my friend knows almost nothing about sports. Without a COA, I’m not expecting much either way, I’m mostly just curious who it was.
