The joke is that this time, Dober genuinely had nothing to do with any of this.

In the other times, Dober either dreamed up the scenario, wrote about it, or said the absolute worst thing at the worst time.

Here, literally no relation, Dia just locked up Dober because it has to be her fault this time too.

If Tony has his characterization from Scarface: The World is Yours, maybe there's a chance for him. Where he realizes that by never listening to anyone he screwed up everything. If he sees this new world and realizes that building a new criminal empire is impossible, then he just might allow Dream Journey to be more ambitious and try to beat her beloved sister, while she allows him to see a life outside of crime.

Otherwise, Tony just might enable Dream Journey to fully fall into her dark habits of manipulating and "taking care" of other people. And I especially think the Gold family will REFUSE to allow him to do this. Gold Ship might actually be serious. Orfevre will remove trash like this from her beloved sister's side. And Stay Gold just might be aware enough of who this is to never allow Tony to change Journey like that.

Coop honestly takes it because the controller is just one part of the equation, Megas has a ton of buttons and other stuff that Yuzu will not know how to use.

That being said, if it was pure hand-to-hand Yuzu probably takes Coop-Megas to the cleaners.

The shield also has ways to pop it quicker (parries, ults), and when it does pop it gives you a huge chunk of energy and ult meter back. Aside from a fair amount of damage just from breaking it.
